Very often the factory automation systems implemented during the design and commissioning phases are not optimal for what concerns efficiency, effectiveness, reliability. That is particularly true for highly complex machines or when the process is regulated by different standardized machines which interact with each other. Furthermore, changes in the production or in the process, call for a tuning of the automation that manages single machines or the whole plant. We implement modifications on the existing automation systems on the base of the functional specifications developed together with our client, in order to optimize processes and work flows.

Troubleshooting interventions on existing systems

We carry out high-qualified technical intervention both on site and remotely. In the second case, once the proper connection systems have been installed, we are able to provide remote assistance by means of an internet connection. The remote connection allows to access all functions of the automation systems. The result is a level of technical assistance close to that supplied with interventions on site. For this kind of assistance is basic the collaboration of the personnel on site during the intervention and the accuracy of the technical documentation available for the devices subjected to intervention.

We run technical analysis of criticalities on existing systems both from the functional and architectural point of view. In particular, for obsolete systems, we spot the critical components and check the completeness of the spare parts stock. We develop plans for progressive safety measures aiming to make the systems as much as possible resilient to break-downs as well as plans for the continue improvement of functionalities and performance of machines and whole plants.
